They also manage the developing, testing, fielding, handling, storage and disposal of munitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Duties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"is-style-compact-list wp-block-list\">\n<li>Commanding and controlling operations during land combat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate employment of ordnance Soldiers at all levels of command<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Job training for an ordnance officer requires completion of the Ordnance Officer Basic Course, where you\u2019ll learn leadership skills, tactics, maintenance and operational aspects of weapons and vehicles used in an ordnance platoon.
