MTSU is enhancing its digital learning infrastructure by replacing D2L Brightspace with the state-of-the-art Canvas learning management system (LMS). Canvas will enable MTSU faculty to deliver effective and engaging instruction within a student- and faculty-friendly environment. During the 2025-26 academic year, we will transition all academic courses, resources, and support systems from D2L Brightspace to Canvas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Faculty will have access to an extensive range of training resources and support to build their Canvas expertise. Canvas will also provide faculty and staff with improved access to high-quality, real-time course data, intuitive navigation, and powerful reporting capabilities, fostering a more dynamic and responsive academic environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This change represents the university\u2019s commitment to academic excellence and innovation, ensuring MTSU courses are efficient, user-friendly, and effective. Canvas will host all MTSU courses beginning Summer 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
