- Even if your course has been migrated by K16, it will not be \u201cready to go.\u201d Faculty need to review their migrated course content, quizzes, assessments, etc., and choose a layout for their courses in Canvas. (e.g., One of our Canvas Early adopters spent 10 hours working on her K16 migrated fully online course for spring 2026.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Still need your course(s) migrated from D2L to Canvas? We have some space for additional K16 course migrations, but the migration process takes 4-6 weeks. The last round of migration requests (a very limited number) is due by June 12th<\/strong>, and because of the late date, we cannot guarantee that these courses will be migrated before the Fall 2026 term begins. If you’d like to submit a request for the final course migration, complete the K16 Migration Request Form<\/a> for EACH course that needs to be migrated<\/strong>; you will need the course URL, Instructor name, M number, and Department for each course. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- If you’d like to migrate your own course content from D2L to Canvas, refer to\u00a0the guidelines in this\u00a0pdf<\/u><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0video<\/u><\/a>.
<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n- Summer and Fall 2026 course\u00a0shells\u00a0are visible in\u00a0your Canvas account<\/a>. These are just shells, without course content, but you\u00a0can\u00a0import and build\u00a0content\u00a0anytime.
<\/li>\n\n\n\n- Students (including all GAs and GTAs)\u00a0cannot access D2L after May 15, 2026, but faculty permissions are active through\u00a0December\u00a031, 2026.\u00a0
