Â鶹ÊÓƵ has officially launched the Blue Partner Network (BPN),<\/a> a diverse coalition of faculty and staff representing every division across campus, to help lead the university through one of its most significant modernizations in decades: the True Blue Fusion project<\/a>. True Blue Fusion will replace MTSU\u2019s aging Banner systems with Oracle Cloud, transforming the university\u2019s management of finances, human resources, budgeting, procurement, and reporting.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BPN kickoff event on Tuesday, October 7th<\/sup>, 2025, brought together senior leadership, project architects, and newly appointed BPN members for an introduction to the project\u2019s scope, purpose, and people.\u202fAll six of MTSU\u2019s Vice Presidents attended the meeting, underscoring the university\u2019s unified commitment to the transformation.<\/strong>\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As CIO Yvette Clark emphasized at the kickoff, \u201cThis project is about more than systems; it\u2019s about the people who use them every day.\u201d The True Blue Fusion team<\/a>, alongside the Blue Partner Network, is committed to helping every employee feel informed, prepared, and supported as MTSU transitions to this new era of innovation and efficiency.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five Things to Know About True Blue Fusion<\/strong>\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. It\u2019s a university-wide transformation.<\/strong>\u202fTrue Blue Fusion will modernize how MTSU manages HR, finance, budgeting, procurement, and business intelligence through a single, integrated Oracle Cloud platform.\u202f <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. It replaces outdated systems.<\/strong>\u202fTrue Blue Fusion will replace systems such as Banner Human Resources, Banner Finance, Chrome River, MT$ource, and PageUp, bringing everything together into one streamlined platform.\u202f <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. It\u2019s supported by every division.<\/strong>\u202fAll six university vice presidents serve as executive sponsors of the project, ensuring\u202ftransparency, and collaboration from top to bottom.\u202f <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

It focuses on people and process, not just technology.<\/strong>\u202fWith the help of our implementation partner, Huron Consulting Group, the project emphasizes preparing users to successfully adapt to and learn the new system. It also introduces the Blue Partner Network, a group of more than 35 respected campus representatives who serve as communication bridges between their areas and the project team, sharing updates, gathering feedback, and helping colleagues prepare for change.\u202f <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            The True Blue Fusion project is well underway, with teams now focused on designing, developing, and testing the new Oracle Cloud system.
