Students or prospective students who wish to file a complaint related to accreditation or regarding violations of state law not resolved at the institution may submit a complaint to the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, Division of Consumer Protection.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tn.gov\/commerce\/consumer-affairs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.tn.gov\/commerce\/consumer-affairs.html<\/a>.\u00a0If the program is licensed by the State of Tennessee, a complaint may be filed with the appropriate state licensing board.\u00a0 Under state open records law, all or parts of complaints will generally be available for review upon request from a member of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questions about the accreditation of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ may be directed in writing to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097, by calling (404) 679-4500, or by using information available on SACSCOC\u2019s website (www.sacscoc.org).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Confidential complaints of fraud, waste or abuse may be made by email at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:reportfraud@mtsu.edu\">reportfraud@mtsu.edu<\/a>;&nbsp;by contacting the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.comptroller.tn.gov\/office-functions\/investigations\/fraud-waste-and-abuse.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tennessee Comptroller of Treasury<\/a><strong>;&nbsp;<\/strong>or by calling the Tennessee Comptroller&#8217;s Hotline for Fraud, Waste and Abuse at 1-800-232-5454.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Board of Trustees takes very seriously complaints and concerns regarding the University.
