Pursuant to 34 CFR <\/strong>\u00a7668.43<\/a>, Â鶹ÊÓƵ (MTSU) provides the following disclosure related to the educational requirements for professional licensure and certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Â鶹ÊÓƵ (MTSU) offers multiple academic programs designed to meet educational requirements for a professional license or certification required for employment in an occupation in Tennessee. Admission to a program does not guarantee that students will obtain a license or certificate. Completion of an MTSU program may not meet educational requirements for licensure in other U.S. states or territories. Licensing authorities for each state set and enforce their own requirements and standards, which are subject to change. State requirements may include, but are not limited to, application, supervision, examinations, continuing education, fees, fingerprinting, and background check. MTSU strongly recommends that students who are not located in Tennessee or who plan to seek licensure or certification outside the state of Tennessee contact the appropriate licensing agency or board before enrolling in an academic program designed to lead to licensure or certification and discuss their plans with an advisor. This will ensure that students have the most up-to-date information and guidance regarding state licensure requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information about specific programs is provided below. Programs are offered in person on the MTSU campus in Murfreesboro, TN, unless otherwise noted. Disclosure information will be reviewed and updated annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
