The meetings are currently held via Zoom unless announced otherwise. <strong>Expedited<\/strong> and <strong>Exempt <\/strong>applications are accepted to be reviewed<strong> year-round. <\/strong>Nonetheless, the turn around time on expedited and exempt protocols may be a bit longer when the University is not in session. Such as, summer break, winter break and during other major holidays. \u00a0The researchers must plan accordingly to avoid wait time. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications for Full Review must be submitted to the Office of&nbsp;Compliance by 4:00 PM on or before the the deadline dates listed below. &nbsp;Investigators are encouraged to attend the concerned IRB meeting(s) to address questions and concerns posed by Committee members. &nbsp;The investigators&#8217; presence at the IRB delibration has been shown to expedite the review process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AY 2024-2025 Full Review Schedule and Deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dates and times to be determined<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Email your questions to <a>irb_information@mtsu.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>General Information The IRB will meet once per month during the Fall and Spring semesters for protocols requiring a Full Review.
