{"id":30,"date":"2024-05-28T16:01:35","date_gmt":"2024-05-28T16:01:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/parents\/?page_id=30"},"modified":"2026-04-17T09:22:54","modified_gmt":"2026-04-17T09:22:54","slug":"scholarships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mtsu.edu\/parents\/scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Parent and Family Association Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Parent and Family Association was created to provide opportunities for parent and family members to become involved in their student&#8217;s education and to promote student success.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Parent and Family Association created scholarships to support the educational endeavors of students attending MTSU.&nbsp; These scholarships are awarded for the fall semester only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Student Book Scholarships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to be considered for one of the new student scholarships, your application must be received by&nbsp;<strong>Friday, August 1, 2025 by 4:30 pm CST<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Criteria<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-compact-list\">\n<li>Parent or family member must have a currently active membership with the Association.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student must be a first time MTSU student for the Fall 2025 semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student must be a full-time MTSU student for the Fall 2025 semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student must agree to use the book scholarship for the purchase of books and related materials required for course work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student understands that submission of this application constitutes permission to use student\u2019s name, photograph, and answers to the following questions for promotional\/informational purposes for the Parent and Family Association.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-a89b3969 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/UhHassGDzeQ2qvMT7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apply Now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-lightgray-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-lightgray-background-color has-background is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Returning Student Scholarships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to be considered for one of the returning student scholarships, your application must be received by&nbsp;<strong>Friday, June 6, 2025 by 4:30 pm CST<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Criteria<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested students must meet the following criteria to apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list is-style-compact-list\">\n<li>Applicant must be a full-time MTSU student for the Fall 2025 semester.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant\u2019s parent or family member must be a member of the association at the time of application and award.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant must turn in requested number of copies of the completed application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicant understands that submission of this application constitutes permission to use student\u2019s name, photograph, and answers to the application questions for promotional\/informational purposes for the Parent and Family Association.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-a89b3969 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/k9MHfkZ1KL9b8tA87\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apply Now<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Parent and Family Association was created to provide opportunities for parent and family members to become involved in their student&#8217;s education and to promote student success.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Parent and Family Association created scholarships to support the educational endeavors of students attending MTSU.&nbsp; These scholarships are awarded for the fall semester only.
