The theme of this\u00a0year\u2019s Homecoming Week is \u201cThe Big Blue Easy.\u201d\u00a0The new Homecoming parade route will begin on East Main\u00a0Street at Maney Avenue and will continue down Baird Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Join me to watch the 2015 Homecoming parade from the best\u00a0place on campus\u2014the president\u2019s lawn at Mixer on Main. The\u00a0lawn will be filled with alumni and friends gathered for an event\u00a0that could only happen at MTSU. This year\u2019s party will feature\u00a0parade announcers, music, floats, light snacks, and souvenir\u00a0photos of your group. After the parade, stay for the tailgate lunch\u00a0at Mixer on Main, Raider Walk in the Grove, and, of course, the\u00a06:00 p.m. kickoff vs. Vanderbilt!<\/p>\n<p>A complete listing of all events can be found at our website\u00a0or people can call the Alumni Office at 898-2922 for more\u00a0information.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mtalumni.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MTalumni.com<\/a> is the premier Homecoming\u00a02015 schedule for alumni and the community.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2605 Monday, Sept. 28<\/p>\n<p>5:00 p.m. <strong>Annual Chili Cook-off\u00a0<\/strong>(community event)<\/p>\n<p>\u2605 Wednesday, Sept. 30<\/p>\n<p>9:30 p.m. <strong>Homecoming Party<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2605 Friday, Oct. 2<\/p>\n<p>10:00 a.m. <strong>Golden Raiders\u00a0Reunion and Induction Ceremony\u00a0Honoring the Class of 1965<\/strong>.\u00a0All alumni who graduated 50\u00a0or more years ago are invited to\u00a0the reunion. Induction into the\u00a0Golden Raiders Society is open\u00a0to those who graduated in 1965\u00a0or before who have yet to be\u00a0officially inducted.<\/p>\n<p>4:00 p.m. <strong>Distinguished Alumni\u00a0Awards Reception<\/strong>.
