We are pleased to share that the \u201cDon\u2019t Miss Your Shot\u201d COVID-19 vaccine clinic sponsored by MTSU Health Services will reopen Thursday, April 15, at the Student Union location.\u00a0\u00a0In accordance with the recent recommendation by the CDC to pause use of Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine formulations,\u00a0upcoming vaccine clinics offered by MTSU Health Services will now administer the Moderna vaccine<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Any appointment previously made for Thursday (April 15) or later remains unchanged, and those individuals should arrive at the date and time originally scheduled.\u00a0 Individuals who had appointments set for Tuesday (April 13) or today (April 14) should revisit\u00a0https:\/\/outlook.office365.com\/owa\/calendar\/VaccinationClinic2@mtsu.edu\/bookings\/<\/a>\u00a0to make a new appointment.<\/p>\n

Appointment slots remain available, and appointments can be made through the link above using your pipeline user name and password.\u00a0Please bring a photo ID to your appointment.<\/p>\n

Please note that the Moderna vaccine requires a booster shot 28 to 42 days after your initial dose.\u00a0The second dose may be scheduled with Health Services or you can use\u00a0https:\/\/vaccinefinder.org\/<\/a>\u00a0to locate other vaccine providers in communities around the country.\u00a0These options will be discussed with you at your appointment.<\/p>\n

Convenient parking is available in the Ezell Lot pictured\u00a0here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The vaccine clinic will move back to the Rec Center location beginning April 19; however, extended hours will once again be offered on Tuesday, April 20, until 5:30 p.m.\u00a0While vaccination is not a current requirement, we encourage students to be vaccinated in an effort to allow for more in-person opportunities in the fall semester.\u00a0<\/p>\n
