Accreditation is a hallmark of the quality and integrity of our academic programs, services, and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SACSCOC recently announced an important change in the accreditation process regarding the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) requirement for institutions. The Commission has begun studying the QEP requirement while undertaking a scheduled review of the Principles of Accreditation. With this change, MTSU is not required to submit the Career EDGE QEP that has been in development, and Career EDGE will not be part of the University\u2019s on-site accreditation review in March 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, we will still work to enhance career readiness services in fulfillment of our mission and Strategic Plan 2035. I have tasked former Career EDGE leaders with rescoping their plans for implementation in Strategic Plan 2035, which calls for holistic academic and career support for all students.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you to everyone who participated in the Career EDGE development process.
