About The STUDY HUB @ BAS

The Study Hub @ BAS (University Computer Lab), located in room S137 at the Business and Aerospace Building, provides supervised computer access for students, faculty, and staff. Lab supervisors guide users in using equipment and software and provide general problem-solving help. These services are primarily designed to aid users with basic computer operations.

Computers

The Study Hub has 124 network-connected computers available to students.  Each computer has the latest Office software and other specialized applications students need to complete class assignments.

ADA Computers
We have two computers available to students with disabilities.  These computers are loaded with all the ADA software students need to succeed.  All questions or additional software/hardware requests should be directed to .

Requesting Software
Faculty needing to make special applications available to students should complete the software request form. Sometimes, the faculty or department needing special applications must pay licensing costs.  Please make your request a few days in advance to allow enough time to obtain and install the software.

Laptop Loaners 
Students taking at least one Business course and Faculty within the College of Business can rent laptops directly from our computer lab.  For more information, check out our Laptop Loaner Program page.

Printing

B/W Printing
We have six HP Laserjet printers in the main lab and one in each of the two demo labs.

Color Printing
Limited color printing is also available to all lab patrons for educational purposes only.

Copy Machine

We have a copy machine available for student use! Please utilize it for academic purposes and be considerate of others around you.

Scanning

Document scanning is available at the ADA Station.

Study Pods

The Study Hub offers four study pods equipped with group study technology. Each pod has a max capacity of 4 and includes a screen-share TV, a charging station, a high-speed ethernet port, and light & temperature controls.

Esports

The BAS S137 has 24 Dell Gaming computers for students’ use with 24″ widescreen monitors. There are also 24 Dell academic computers. Users must switch the monitor and keyboard to use with the respective computer.聽This room is also available by reservation for classes and training.

Reservable Spaces (Demo Labs and Team Study Room)

We have three lab rooms available for those requesting meeting spaces that require technology. 聽Our two demo labs (S137E and S137F) are only available to all faculty and sponsors. The Team Study Room is a 4-person study space available only to students.

Study Pods are available on a first-come, first-served basis or by reservation.
