How to Look Up Classes
Begin by clicking on the “Look Up Classes” icon or link in PipelineMT.

Next select the term you are searching in.

On the following screen you can search by the subject of the course, course number, and/or part of term. Simply start typing a subject into the box and it will populate options to choose. You can search for multiple subjects at one time or search for multiple classes by leaving the course number blank.

For further options select “Advanced Search” to look for classes by other parameters or to look for only open sections of courses.

The search will pull classes and show all pertinent information such as time, location, capacity, instructor, and more. You can expand the columns as needed or click on the course title for more detailed information. If there are no meeting days highlighted, the class is held online or has no particular meeting time.
Under the “Part of Term” column the number 1 represents a regular full-term class. This column will reflect if a course is in an Accelerated term (A1, A2), Winter Session (W), or various summer parts of term (S3A, S5A, S6A, etc.). If you find a class you want to register for later, write down the 5-digit CRN in the second column for later use.

If you are on mobile or a tablet, you may not see as many columns. To see this additional information, click on the arrow by the course title to show the missing columns.

Clicking on the title of the course brings up a detailed box that will display more about the course. Course description will show any notes about that particular course that are important. Any needed corequisites or prerequisites can also be seen in this box.

If you want to search for other courses, select the “Search Again” button on the top right corner of the screen.
