How to View Holds
There are a few ways to view holds on your student account that may prevent registration, transcripts, or other processes. In Pipeline under the Registration and Student Records menu, you can select either Prepare for Registration or View Holds to access any active holds on your account. To find details about what different holds mean and who to contact to resolve those holds, visit mtsu.edu/registration/holds.
If prompted, select the term that you are wanting to register for or the current term if registration has not started yet for the next semester. The next screen will show any holds that prevent registration in red. Other holds that will not prevent registration will be in green, but those may prevent ordering transcripts or seeing grades. Some holds are only for a certain semester, while others will be for all semesters. You will not be able to register for the listed semester if there are any red holds.
If you try to register for classes with a hold, you will see a pop up error with details about the hold on your account.
Holds will also appear on your Student Profile page in the top right corner, based on the term selected.
